Client: Blanche Pictures & Personal Project - Title Sequences both commercial and personal - see below films for details
- Client: Self Initiated. The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks still remains one of my favourite novels; this fictional title sequence was made in the hopes that a film interpretation might one day come to fruition. Production included stop motion photography combined with scanned illustrations and stock footage.
- Client: Blanche Pictures. Directed by Esther Johnson, ‘Celestial’ is an experimental film I was commissioned to direct and animate title sequences and inter-titles for. The film was funded by The Bigger Picture as a public realm work for the BBC Big Screen Network. Production consisted of stop motion photography of projected typography within a sealed smoke filled (and rotating) glass tank.
- Client: Blanche Pictures. Opening and Closing Titles plus Inter titles for the film ‘Yalda’. Directed by Esther Johnson ‘Yalda’ is part of ‘The City Speaks’; a collaborative project commissioned by Film London and BBC Radio Drama. Screened in 2008 at the BFI Imax theatre.
